Atletico Covid 19 Info Page

Dear members!
In the last few weeks, questions about the continuation of the season have been increasing in all teams.
Therefore we want to give an overview in FAQ form.
The information applies equally to women and men. Futsal deviates a little.
The Executive Board is always available to answer any questions you may have:
Bernd Thiele: Tel: 0171-515 86 87 b.thiele@atleticoerlangen.de
Wolfgang Borig: Tel: 0171-839 49 52 vorstand2@atleticoerlangen.de

Please pay attention to the hygiene regulations set up by the State of Bavaria when you start training. In order to ensure that training has not to be stopped again due to a renewed increase in the number of infections, it is in all of our interests to comply with these regulations!

FAQ continuation of the season

From Monday, May 11th, team training in clubs will be possible again.
However, subject to conditions. You will find this in the next point.
We will start training as follows:
The male teams will start on Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m. @ the DJK Erlangen, Wiesenweg 2.
Since carpooling is not recommended at the moment, and everyone should have the opportunity to come to training, we decided to train at the DJK. For the time being, this only takes place once a week.
It is important for this training that the coach knows exactly who comes to the training upfront. We are therefore reversing the “deregistration rule”. So please contact Carlos  by Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the latest! At this moment there is no restriction for the participation.
The start of the training is still dependent on the current “Infection Protection Ordinance” being adapted and the city of Erlangen freeing up the places.

The start of training for our ladies team is still being prepared. Here we also provide information as soon as possible.

The start of training for the futsal team also depends on the approval of the halls by the city of Erlangen. I also inform separately here.

This is a short version. There is a download above the language selection of this page for the complete rules (German only).

0. Club membership for 2020 mus be paid.

1. If you have symptoms of Covid-19, such as headache, fever, cough, diarrhea, etc., please stay at home. This also applies if someone in your household shows these symptoms!

2. The training will take place “contactless”. The minimum distance must be observed.

3. Please use common sense. You all know what the virus transmits. Avoid this!

4. Register by 11:00 am on Wednesday for training so that the coaches can plan the training.

5. We will also provide sufficient soap for washing hands at the point where the shoes can be cleaned. Please bring your own towels here if necessary. Please pay attention to the distance at the guard stations.

6. Please bring your own drinking bottles.

7. Please travel individually, so only carpool with roommates.

8. Training starts at 7 p.m., meet at 6:50 p.m. Please no group formation before and after the training.

9. The toilets are closed! Please do the “bigger business” BEFORE training at home.

10. The cabins are closed! Please change on the pitch or at home.

11. The training material is brought onto the court by ONE person and the exercises are set up. The same person will disinfect and put away the material after the training.

12. Camisole must NOT be exchanged during training. Everyone will put “his” camisole in a sack provided after the training.

13. Goalkeeper gloves must be disinfected several times during training. We provide the means for this.

14. Please NO spitting or “snot” on the place!

15. No headers!

We should all take the measures first. This is the basis for the fact that we can continue to train and play again soon!
Please understand that we will immediately exclude players who do not abide by the rules from training without warning. This applies until the ban on contacts is completely lifted.

Despite the early start of the training, the federation maitains the start of the leagues for Sept. 1st.

According to the current status, the next league matches would be as follows:
1. Male
5.9. at the TSV Vestenbergsgreuth
2. Male
6.9. at the SpVgg Etzelskirchen II
Female
6.9. against FC Dormitz in Dechsendorf

One or two test games might be possible on the weekends before these dates.

The season 2020/21 could be played immediately afterwards until 30.6.2021, if the season 2019/20 can be played properly in September of 2020 (from September to the end of November).
If there are major interruptions due to weather influences (game relocations) or a second Covid-19 wave, it may be that the 19/20 season cannot be played until spring 2021, i.e. between March and June 2021. In this case, the 2020/21 season would be canceled.
Then the season 2021/22 could continue in July 2021.

We discussed this topic extensively in the Executive Board and also included some outside opinions.
We are of the opinion that the association (BFV) with its proposal to continue the season on September 1st., choose the easiest and safest decision for itself. Not the one that best helps the clubs. We therefore voted NO and therefore rejected the proposal.
Why:
It is understandable that each club wants to finish what it has achieved with its teams durin this season. As for our first teams, we want that too. However, we believe that there are other options than to continue an already “screwed up” season with a full schedule.
Too many teams are in the table in no man’s land. And: The continuation of a season has decisive disadvantages.
Because exactly what is supposed to be avoided will take place: distortion of competition.
No team that intervenes in the competition in September or later (possibly only in March 2021) will look exactly as it did in March 2020. Players will move to other cities or stop playing football for private reasons. There will be no change period. So new players are not allowed to join.
In other words, the teams will have to “pull up” players from the second team, with some second teams deregistering due to a lack of players. At the same time, there will be numerous players who have to watch from outside because of the extension of the 6-month rule.
However, we are in favor of the 2019/20 season being played. But not with the complete match schedule.
The respective leagues should discuss a scheme with each other (each individually for themselves) who wants to take part in playoffs for promotion and relegation. As soon as permitted, these can then be carried out in the form of “ghost games”.
This solution would lead to an athletic fair decision and prevent lawsuits.
A 2020/21 season could then start with a bit of a delay and the regular handling of all player changes in autumn 2020.

This is a rather easy question:

Female: FC Großdechsendorf
Male: DJK Erlangen
The Futsal training will take place every Friday at 7pm in the hall in Spardorf as soon as this is permitted.

As soon as a decision about the game operation in the football leagues has been taken, the BFV will decide to cancel the 2019/20 season. This was unanimously approved by the Bayern League clubs (almost *).
It can therefore be expected that the current table will be used as the final table. The Beton Boys Munich ascend to the regional league, Grün Weiss Ingolstadt is out..
We will resume training in Spardorf immediately if this is permitted.
The Bayernliga season 2020/21 should start as planned in October 2020. This is the current status.

* Due to the table situation, the TSV1860 has reserved the right to request a play-off against Futsal Nürnberg if a second promotion place in the regional league becomes available.

Again, a clear statement is possible: YES!  Entirely.
We have currently postponed the reminders to those who have still not paid their contribution. But will resume as soon as it is foreseeable how we proceed.
It applies now, as is generally the case: if you cannot pay your membership at once, you can do so in installments. However, the treasurer must be informed and the rates must then be adhered to.
Even if gaming operations are currently suspended, our costs continue to run. We have to pay the BFV, the insurance through the BLSV, the tax advisor, the rental fees in Dechsendorf and at the DJK. The jerseys still have to be paid. We also do not get the money back for purchased training material.

Even if there is no specific decision by the association, we expect the sentences to be served out. So possibly also in September or March 2021.
If that changes, we will write it here.

The topic of the 6-month period has also not yet been finally clarified. It is currently the case that the game operation on 13.3. has been suspended and the time has been “frozen”. For example, this means:
When switching to Atletico:
Example 1
Last game old club: 30.9.2019
Normal eligibility for Atletico: 1.4.2020 (6 months)
At the start of the season on September 4, NEW:  September 26, 2020 (6 months from September 30, 2019 to March 13, 20 and from September 4 to September 26, 2020)
The player would now be blocked from 4.9. until 26.9 instead of 13.3. until 1.4.
Example 2
Last game old club: 30.7.2019
Normal eligibility for Atletico: January 31, 2020
At the start of the season on September 4th, NEW:  September 4th, 2020
The player is immediately entitled to play, because he would have been on 13.3. anyway.
Example 3
Last game old club: 29.2.2020
The player could have switched to Atletico in the summer exchange period for a change fee. Or have to serve his 6-month ban until 1.9.20. This 6-month period is suspended, so it will also be effective from September 4th.
It means that, if the summer change period is now opened in winter, he can switch in December 2020 with a fee to the old club or wait for the 6-month lock. This will then expire on August 17, 2021.

I want to change from Atletico to another club:
Example 1
Last game for Atletico: 30.9.2019
Normal eligibility for another club: 1.4.2020 (6 months)
At the start of the season on September 4, NEW:  September 26, 2020 (6 months from September 30, 2019 to March 13, 20 and from September 4 to September 26, 2020)
The player would now be blocked from 4.9. until 26.9 instead of 13.3. until 1.4.

Example 2
Last game Atletico: 30.7.2019
Normal eligibility for another club: January 31, 2020
At the start of the season on September 4th, NEW:  September 4th, 2020
The player is immediately entitled to play, because he would have been on 13.3. anyway. However, membership fees for 2020 need to be paid.

Example 3
Last game Atletico Erlangen: 8.3.2020 (SpVgg Reuth)
The player could have switched to another club in the summer exchange period for a change fee. Or have to serve his 6-month ban until 1.9.20. This 6-month period is suspended, so it will also be effective from September 4th.
It means that, if the summer change period is now opened in winter, he can switch in December 2020 with a fee to the old club or wait for the 6-month lock. This will then expire on August 26, 2021.

Stand 18.4.2020

Bernd is available for specific questions.

According to the current status, there will be no change period in summer 2020.
A release is only possible if the player had completed his 6-month ban on 13th March 2020. Otherwise, the deadline must be calculated from September 4 th. Or the player has to wait for the change period in December.

Stand: 18.4.2020

If the season continues in September, we will make the best of it.
We will resume training at the earliest possible time under the then given conditions and will do our best with all teams in the remaining season.
The board of directors and all other responsible parties within the club will ensure that the best possible conditions are created in order to be able to play football and futsal again with fun as we did before.
In the next days and weeks we (coaches and board members) will have talks with the players.

Participation in training and games is always voluntary in amateur clubs. Everyone is of course free to participate or not.
One thing is certain: if a majority is not ready to play and the team cannot play, the BFV cannot and will not play the entire league.
The same applies at the state level: If too many players and clubs have concerns about a game operation, they will not take place and will be suspended.

As the board of directors had said before: If the games are not really suspended for a long time, e.g. by summer 2021, we shouldn’t have any problems here. We have managed conscientiously and can handle it. Despite the current payment arrears of our main sponsor.
However, we also assume that the few who still have an open membership fee will pay it promptly.
